Ghana’s Black Stars moved four places up to 47th in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA Rankings released on Thursday.

Kwesi Appiah’s team, bounced back from their disappointing Round 16 exit at the AFCON back in July, with back to back victories in their opening two games of the AFCON 2021 qualifiers, against South Africa and São Tomé.

The Black Stars also moved up one place to 6th place ranking in Africa, behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Nigeria and Morocco, who occupy the first five places.

Belgium remain top of the overall rankings with the top 10 remaining unchanged.

However there was some movement, with Croatia (6th) and Portugal (7th) trading places.
