Wendy Shay to rock Accra tonight at Legon Cities, Olympics Val’s Day clash; free for ‘ladies in red’

Despite a winless start to the season so far, Legon Cities have certainly captured the attention of football fans in the country with their exploits off the field.

Having already had ‘Dancehall King’  Shatta Wale thrill fans at the Accra Sports Stadium in their match against Asante Kotoko, Kwesi Arthur against Ashgold and Medikal against Bechem United, Legon Cities aren’t letting up one bit.

With the club forced to use the Accra Sports Stadium as their new home ground for the new season, Legon Cities are taking full advantage of the increased seating space.

For their fourth home game of the season the side, which until the start of the current season, used to be Wa All Stars, has booked another major act to perform for fans mid-game.

One of Ghana’s biggest female acts at the moment, Wendy Shay is set to perform at the game against Accra Great Olympics tonight.

With both sides enjoying lots of attention on social media and with both basically playing at home tonight, Wendy Shay’s performance will be the cherry on top of what is expected to be a very exciting match.

The match against Great Olympics will be played tonight at 7pm under the floodlights at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to the home side, entry will be free for “all the ladies in red” while all fans will be given chocolate.

Given the massive success of Shatta Wale’s performance, the massive excitement generated by the Kwesi Arthur and the fervour generated from Medikal’s match-winning cameo, it appears that Legon Cities have found a gold mine that they won’t be dropping any time soon.

Popular Stand tickets for the match are selling for GH₵10, Center Line tickets for GH₵15 with Upper and Lower VIP tickets being sold at GH₵25. VIP tickets for the game will cost GH₵30.
