Karela United FC have beefed up their playing body with the addition of 8 players in the second registration window of the Ghana Premier League.
The team announced the signing the players on Thursday via its Twitter handle.

The players are Kingsley Osei Effah and Evans Owusu from Asante Kotoko, Umar Bashiru from Wa Suntaa, Richard Berko and Thomas Gyawu from BYC, Umar Abdul Basit from New Edubiase and Lawrence Owusu and Bennett Ofori (unattached).
With Karela struggling in the first round of the Ghana Premier League, the expectations of fans will be that the new players will provide the needed turnaround in results.
Before the Ghana Premier League was suspended, Karela were 17th on the league log with 11 points.
