Ghana to host maiden Wafu U-20 Women’s Cup

Ghana will host the first edition of the West African Football Union (Wafu) U-20 Women’s Cup of Nations early next year.

The Cape Coast Stadium will host the regional football competition from February 12—26 2022.

Eleven countries from Western Zone A and Western Zone B have confirmed their participation in the tournament.

  • Zone A countries (4) – Guinea, Mali, Senegal, and Sierra Leone
  • Zone B countries (7) – Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, and Togo
