Kumasi Asante Kotoko have released a statement expressing their displeasure at the postponement of their Gameweek 29 fixture against Ashantigold.
The game was postponed after the Ghana Police Service received intelligence that indicated it may be unsafe for the match to proceed in the wake of the publication of the findings from the Ashantigate investigation.
In a statement released via Twitter, the club alleged that a postponement at this stage would be to the detriment of the league and potentially impact the sporting integrity of the competition.
They further demanded that the match be played before any other matches are played and for the GFA to reimburse them for their transport and lodging costs.
