The Chief Executive Officer of Berry Ladies Football Club, Gifty Oware-Mensah has been adjudged the best sports personality at the 2022 Forty Under 40 Awards.
Mrs. Oware-Mensah who doubles as Vice President of Berekum Chelsea Football Club, won the sports category accolade ahead of Yvonne Bruce Tagoe of the Ghana Tennis Federation and Mohammed Osman Nkosi of Titans of Africa.
She took home a trophy and medal at the awards ceremony held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra.
The management member of the Black Maidens was rewarded for her role in local football, and her hub dubbed ‘The Afia Oware Summit’, which gives young women the chance to be mentored.
The Forty Under 40 Awards recognises and celebrates 40 emerging leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate or impact personally and/ or professionally through their exceptional leadership.
