Techiman Heroes Sporting Club CEO, Eric Opoku, says his team attaches a lot of importance to the MTN FA Cup and the competition is important to the club.

He revealed this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports in the wake of the preliminary stage draw for this season’s competition.

Techiman Heroes has been drawn in the first round against regional rival Berekum City FC formerly known as Nkoranza Warriors and ahead of the game the Heroes FC CEO is gearing up for a deeper run this season.

“The FA Cup is a competition we always attach a lot of importance to. It’s was very unfortunate that last season we couldn’t go far as we wanted to go. It was just in the prelims we were eliminated by Dormaa Unity but this time around, we are very determined, very poised and we got Berekum City FC at home.”

“They are old foes, we know them very well…we play them a lot in the Division One.”
