Accra West District Football Chairman, Farouk Zakari, has called for more investment to be poured into the improvement of facilities to aid the development of football in the country.

He said this on the sidelines of the Pangelz Scouting Tournament held recently at the Tuba Astro Turf in a competition that had teams like Africa Youth FC, Action V FC from Koforidua and Kengid FC feature in.

The tournament was headlined by FIFA Agent Pamela Ansah-Asamoah and the event had scout for Slovakian side MSK Zilina, Michal Biras, present to scout for talents.

Biras spoke about players who caught his eye and touched on the team’s willingness to monitor their development and room for a potential trail session with the European team. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“Am looking forward to see such facilities in Accra West District at Korle Bu Ndafa Park; we’re looking for sponsors to get us three of these things these standard facilities and when we have it, it’s a go and that’s what we’re looking for.”
