On Wednesday, December 27th, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to inaugurate the recently renovated Koforidua Sports Stadium, now known as the Koforidua Youth Resource Center.
The event will be attended by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and various key government officials.
The Koforidua Youth Resource Center, nearing 96% completion, is one of 10 multipurpose sports centers being developed by the government nationwide.
Pius Enam Hadzide, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Youth Authority (NYA), expressed satisfaction with the progress during a media briefing after inspecting the facility.
Additionally, Hadzide disclosed that the NYA is in the process of obtaining approval for the construction of a table tennis arena as part of the ongoing project.
