Former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom says he doesn’t support the dissolution of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) but has called on the GFA to take in differing views on running football in Ghana.

He said this during his appearance on United Showbiz alongside former Black Stars teammates Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and John Paintsil who presented contrasting views on how to develop the sport in the country. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

The ex-Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and FC Basel player disagreed with individuals who have called for the GFA to be dissolved by government and even attract a ban from FIFA.

However, he urged the GFA to be open to different views on how to run the sport in Ghana particularly in the wake of the SaveGhanaFootball Demonstration.

“Dissolving the GFA won’t help us but the little I can say is that, when others bring different initiatives (opinions) into the GFA, I plead with the GFA to listen to what others have to say because it is the development of Ghana football we all seek.”

With the Black Stars, Inkoom played at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.
