Right To Dream Academy Ghana CEO, Alex Asiedu, has pointed to the lack of proper organization as the major obstacle preventing Ghana from tapping into its deep level of rich football talent.

He said this in an exclusive interview on ChannelOne Sports in the wake of administrative changes to the football organization’s structure.

Right To Dream has become synonymous with the production of top quality footballers who have excelled in Ghana and beyond.

Black Stars players Mohammed Kudus, Ibrahim Osman, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, Francis Abu and Kamal Sowah are products of the Academy.

In the interview, Alex Asiedu, indicated that Ghana has a lot of talented footballers but proper organization has largely prevented the enormous wealth of talent from being fully tapped.

“I think the talent dial has been where it is for years. There is a huge amount of talent in the country. What we don’t have is an organized way of tapping into that talent so that, that talent becomes individually profitable to the person and the nation as a whole also gains from it.”

“Our job is to try and put in place structures that tap into the talent but make no mistake we have a lot of talent in the country, it’s not gone. By virtue of numbers, it’s gone up.”
