Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club have reacted to news of the United States of America Embassy in Ghana turning down several travel visa requests by Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club.

Kotoko was scheduled to play against DC United in Washington DC on Saturday, October 12 but the visa challenges reportedly had the club considering courting members of Medeama SC to complement the team to honour the game. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

However, Kotoko announced on Friday, October 11 that it has withdrawn from honouring the Capital City Africa Cup since its attempts to resolve the challenging issue proved unsuccessful as at Thursday, October 10.

The Phobia Club reacted to the news of the “visa bouncing” by posting a song of hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone’s hit song “Ya Bounce Wo Visa” on its X (formerly Twitter) page.

Hearts of Oak and Kotoko are the biggest clubs in Ghana and most successful clubs and have the biggest rivalry in Ghanaian club football.
