The GFA expressed its heartfelt appreciation to Hauptle for her dedication and contributions to the Black Queens and the development of Ghana Women’s Football during her tenure.

According to the Ghana Football Association, throughout her two years with the team, Hauptle’s salary and accommodation were fully funded by the Association.

The GFA further added that, in anticipation of her contract ending on December 31, 2024, the football Association initiated renewal discussions with Hauptle in June 2024.

Despite presenting her with a significantly improved salary and working conditions, the two parties were unable to reach an agreement on the terms for renewal.
