Reigning SWAG (Sports Writers Association of Ghana) Awards Coach of the Year winner, Desmond Ofei, has been named as the new Black Stars Assistant Coach.

Ofei replaces Joseph Laumann who served as one of two assistants for Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo. John Paintsil retained his position.

This news was confirmed in the wake of major changes made to Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team’s technical department.
