Country Director of Right To Play, Ghana, Josephine Mukakalisa, has called on Minister of Sports and Recreation-Designate, Kofi Iddie Adams, to find ways to work with stakeholders to promote sports in Ghana when he assumes office.
She said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of Kofi Adams’ official confirmation as the man to replace outgoing Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif.
“There are a lot of benefits in promoting sports and my advice to the new (Sports) Minister and the policies of the new Ministry is really to think about how do we all work together to invest in promoting sports in our communities.”
Sports Minister-Designate Kofi Adams, is set to inherit a sector that has been bedeviled by chronic funding, poor infrastructure and inadequate coaches over the years.

Since being nominated by Ghana President John Mahama for the position, Kofi Adams has stated that he looks forward to be a Sports Minister and not a Minister just for football and specifically a Minister of the Black Stars.
