Prempeh College reigns supreme: OWASS falls short AS “AMANFOƆ” defend their super zonal title in a thrilling showdown

In a pulsating climax to the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Athletics Competition, Prempeh College reaffirmed their dominance, successfully defending their title in the boys’ division with a statement victory over arch-rivals Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS).

The much-anticipated showdown between the two athletics powerhouses lived up to expectations, delivering electrifying performances that kept the packed crowd at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on the edge of their seats.

From explosive sprints to grueling distance races, both schools showcased remarkable athletic prowess. However, it was Prempeh College’s unmatched depth, resilience, and tactical superiority that saw them rise above the competition and claim the ultimate prize once again.

Speaking on the triumph, Very Rev. Lewis Asare, Headmaster of Prempeh College, expressed immense pride in his team’s achievement.

This victory cements Prempeh College’s reign as a dominant force in Ashanti regional athletics, having edged out OWASS in last year’s edition as well.
