Liverpool’s remarkable away form under Arne Slot was halted as they suffered a 3-2 defeat at Fulham, despite an early lead through Alexis Mac Allister’s stunning long-range strike. In the first half, Fulham turned the match on its head with three quick-fire goals.

Ryan Sessegnon equalised for the hosts, taking advantage of a lucky bounce from Andreas Pereira’s cross. Alex Iwobi then put Fulham ahead, capitalising on a loose pass from Andy Robertson, before deflecting a shot off the Liverpool full-back to score. A chaotic Fulham corner led to Rodrigo Muniz’s composed finish to give Fulham a crucial 3-1 lead.

Luis Diaz gave Liverpool hope with a 72nd-minute strike, but despite late efforts from Harvey Elliott and Federico Chiesa, the Reds couldn’t find an equaliser. The defeat sees Liverpool remain 11 points clear at the top, while Fulham’s victory boosts their European hopes as they rise to eighth.
