Ghana Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo isn’t giving up on AFC Bournemouth’s chase to qualify to an European competition next season.
AFC Bournemouth rank 10th in the EPL standings after drawing 1-1 with Manchester United; the result puts the Cherries ambitions to compete in the UEFA Conference League or UEFA Europa League in jeopardy.
Semenyo scored in the 23rd minute but Rasmus Hojlund equalized in the 96th minute to deny Bournemouth the maximum points.
“The teams above us can lose next week and we can go above them. We just have to go on to next week. We have a tough game [against Arsenal], but the boys will be confident enough going to the Emirates” he said in a post-game interview with Sky Sports and added that

“It’s not getting easier, but I have full belief in the team that we can do something.”

Semenyo has 11 goals and six assists in 38 games in all competitions in a successful campaign that has had the former Bristol City player linked to a very lucrative deal to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
