Head coach of Ghana’s National Men’s Under 20 Football Team Desmond Ofei has called for his team to be more clinical in its next game in the tournament.
Ghana drew 1-1 with Democratic Republic of Congo in its opening game in the 2025 CAF Under 20 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
The Black Satellites take on defending champions Senegal next on Monday, May 5 at 18:00 GMT with both nations searching for their respective first wins after Senegal drew 1-1 with Central African Republic.
“We created numerous chances against DR Congo but could not convert them. We need to be more clinical and that should ensure that we get the desired results” Ofei said ahead of the game.
Ghana is aiming to finish among the top two ranked spots to pick an automatic qualification to the quarterfinals.
