Brands Manager of Nations Football Club, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, has described wing forward Faisal Charwetey’s addition to the club as a “great” one.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports where he touched on several items including the club’s impressive run to lead the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League standings with four games remaining. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Competing in his debut season in the Ghana League for Nations FC, the 22 year old has bagged 11 goals and an assist in 27 league appearances.

“Faisal [Charwetey] has been a great addition to our squad. We picked him from Akatsi All Stars in the Access Bank Division One League and I must say he has been one of the unsung heroes for Nations FC. Faisal had an opportunity to play for the local Black Stars-Black Galaxies-unfortunately, he wasn’t selected for the two games against Nigeria [in the CHAN qualifiers playoffs] but that notwithstanding he has kept his form and has scored 11 goals in the Ghana League” Boakye Ansah said.”
