For the first time in the ongoing 2024 CAF Women’s AFCON, Ghana’s Black Queens’ starting lineup will remain unchanged for the second game in a row.

Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team is scheduled to play against host nation Morocco in its first semifinal appearance in the continental championship since 2016. The game kicks off at 19:00 GMT on July 22.

Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has been changing the personnel in his starting unit for games in the campaign but the starting outfit in Ghana’s quarterfinal win over Algeria remains unchanged for the clash against Morocco.

Like the game against Algeria, Ghana will lineup in a 3-4-1-2 formation with Doris Boaduwaa and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah leading the attack with Stella Nyamekye playing behind the pair.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies’ Comfort Yeboah continues to operate as a right wingback with Princess Marfo lining up in the left wingback position.

After saving two penalties to effectively hand Ghana the 4-2 win over Algeria in the penalty shootout, goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan stays in goal for the game.
