A few hours after receiving his call-up to Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars, officially, Kojo Oppong Peprah featured in his latest outing for French side OGC Nice.
Peprah is part of the 24 man squad called up to the team ahead of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic (C.A.R.) and Comoros.
Ghana’s game against C.A.R. takes place in Morocco on October 8 ahead of its game against Comoros on October 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Peprah was one of two players called up to the team for the first time with Medeama midfielder Prince Owusu being the other.
Hours after getting into the National Team, 21 year old Peprah played 80 minutes in OGC Nice’s 2-1 loss to Turkish side Fenerbache in the Europa League. He was replaced by Antoine Mendy.

In his time on the field, Peprah made four clearances, blocked two shots, made two interceptions and completed 84% of his passes.

He is in line to play in Nice’s Ligue 1 game against AS Monaco on Sunday, October 5 before the international break.
