There aren’t enough reasons to explain losing five of six games- Liverpool Head Coach Arne Slot

Liverpool FC head coach Arne Slot looks lost trying to find reasons to explain his team’s shocking run of form this month.

The Reds have five losses in six games and the latest loss was recorded in a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Crystal Palace at Anfield in the Carabao Cup. Palace had beaten Liverpool earlier this season in the Community Shield and in the English Premier League.

After seeing his team lose once again, Slot told the BBC that there aren’t enough reasons to explain the bad run.

“You have every option where you can choose from, but the reality is also that there is not a lot of reasons why we have lost five out of six. None of them are enough to make up for the fact we have lost so many.”

“If you look at the week coming up, that is going to be a big week for us, everyone and the club. We need as many players available as we can. You can see today with the line-up I had to make.”

“I only rested the players that have played mainly in the last week. This is the line-up you get. That shows you we already have a few injuries. With a big week coming up for me, it felt the best choice”.

Liverpool take on Aston Villa this weekend and have games against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and Man City to come before mid November.
