Speaking to Ghanaians , he says this will enable easy pathway to victory
As we end Thursday and enter into Friday the 5th of December which already is a special day in Ghana; let’s all remember and say a prayer for our senior national team, the Black Stars, to be drawn in a group that will give us a pathway to victory.

Our prayer counts; let’s join hands in prayer for a victorious draw. So far, 42 countries have booked their place, with six more slots to be filled through the intercontinental playoffs.
However, Ghana will enter the draw in Pot 4, which means the team is likely to face higher-ranked nations from Pots 1, 2, and 3. In the latest FIFA Men’s World Rankings (November 2025), Ghana sits 72nd in the world and 14th in Africa a slight improvement of one place globally after a series of international friendlies.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup edging closer and the expanded 48-team format set to offer new challenges and opportunities, anticipation continues to build across the country as fans await Friday’s draw.
