Black Stars head coach Otto Addo says playing against Germany is an amazing opportunity for his team to test itself ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana’s international friendly game against the Germans was confirmed on Monday, December 15 with the game set to take place in Stuttgart at 20:45 GMT on March 30, 2026.
Germany and Ghana have qualified to compete in next year’s World Cup with Ghana drawn in Group L with England, Panama and Croatia.
Germany has been drawn in Group E with Cote D’Ivoire, Curacao and Ecuador and German head coach Julian Nagelsmann says he is looking forward to the friendly tie. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
On his part, Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team head coach Otto Addo welcomed the chance to play against the European giants saying according to GFA Media,

“This is an amazing opportunity for us to test ourselves against one of the best teams in the world. Germany are a good side, and we can’t wait to face them in Stuttgart.”

Ghana has played Germany twice at the FIFA World Cup and lost 1-0 in the 2010 edition while drawing 2-2 in the 2014 edition.
