Chelsea FC head coach Liam Rosenoir says he is excited about the future of the club as he works his way through the early days of his tenure since taking over the club’s head coaching role earlier this month.
Rosenoir’s statement came in his post-game address after Chelsea beat Cypriot side Pafos 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League group stage at Stamford Bridge. Moises Caicedo scored the winning goal in the 78th minute off a rare header.
Picking up a win in his first Champions League game as Chelsea head coach got Rosenoir excited about what lies ahead for the club.
“When you play against a low block your pivot players play higher up and hopefully he-Moises Caicedo- can continue chipping in with goals. Of course you want to score more goals but the reality is we are in the top eight.”

“We have to keep focusing on the job and that is to win as many games as possible. I can’t affect how people judge me but I am very excited for the future of this club” Rosenoir said to the club’s media.
