Chelsea take on Arsenal in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semifinals looking to overturn a 3-2 deficit to qualify to the final of the competition.
The game kicks off on Tuesday, February 3 at the Emirates Stadium on the back of Chelsea coming back from a 2-0 goal deficit to score a 3-2 win over London rivals West Ham in the English Premier League.
Speaking ahead of the game in an interview with the club’s media, Fernandez, who scored the winner against West Ham, shared the level of confidence the team has in recently appointed head coach Liam Rosenoir who has six wins in seven games.
“The truth is that I’m really proud of my three years here, because I arrived at a very difficult time for the club with many changes and coaches coming and going, but I’m happy with how things are going.”

“The results under the new coach are there for all to see. He hasn’t been with us very long, and his ideas are already very clear. We’re very happy with him and with the confidence he gives us every day. So, we’ll continue along this path” Fernandez said.

Rosenoir’s sole loss as Chelsea head coach was against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
