Bayern Munich winger Luis Díaz says his decision to join Bayern Munich was the right one.

Speaking to ESPN, the Colombian international expressed satisfaction with his move as he continues to impress in his debut season with the Bavarians.

Díaz was on target in Bayern’s 2-1 win over Real Madrid in Spain in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash.

The former Liverpool FC forward has now scored 18 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions this season, while also providing key contributions in attack.

His move to Germany, which came after winning the English Premier League title with Liverpool, raised eyebrows, but Díaz insists the switch has proven to be the right decision.

“Deciding to join Bayern was the right choice. I’m really happy and I enjoy every match.”

“I feel great, in good shape, and that means I’m ready to help the team. We have a clear plan, we’re aery united group, and that shows on the pitch” Diaz said.

Bayern Munich holds a nine-point lead in the German League with six games remaining. The second leg clash against Real Madrid is scheduled for April 15, 2026.
