Manchester United boss Michael Carrick has made three changes to his side for the final game of the 2025/26 Premier League season against Brighton, in a match that also marks his first outing since signing a new deal at Old Trafford.

Carrick has opted for a refreshed line-up as United look to finish the campaign on a strong note, with Patrick Dorgu handed his first start since January. The young full-back comes into the side in place of Matheus Cunha, offering a different attacking outlet on the flank.

There is also a defensive change, with Noussair Mazraoui restored to the starting XI. The Moroccan international replaces Diogo Dalot, who drops to the bench for the final-day fixture.

In midfield, Mason Mount is given a starting role alongside Kobbie Mainoo, with Casemiro making way after what is expected to be his final involvement of the season.

The selection signals Carrick’s intent to balance energy and control in midfield while also rewarding players who have pushed for more game time during the closing stages of the campaign.

United head into the clash against Brighton aiming to end a mixed season on a positive note, with attention already beginning to shift toward rebuilding and squad planning ahead of the new campaign.

For Carrick, it is also a symbolic moment as he begins a new chapter at Old Trafford, with supporters watching closely to see how his vision for the team begins to take shape.
