Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) winger Desire Doue is basking in the glory of winning his second UEFA Champions League title after his side beat Arsenal in a penalty shootout to clinch the 2025-2026 season title.
PSG secured its second title win in a row after registering a 4-3 win on penalties after the game ended 1-1 at the end of regulation time and extra time. A missed kick from Gabriel Magalhaes confirmed PSG as winners.
Kai Havertz scored in the sixth minute for Arsenal but Ousmane Dembele converted a penalty in the 65th minute to grab the equalizer.
Doue played the entire duration of the game and converted his penalty attempt in the shootout and shared how happy he was with the team’s latest achievement.

“We are so, so proud, so happy and grateful. It was a tough game against a good team. We have to enjoy this as a team as a family because we deserve it. It’s a part of my job.”

“You have to stay calm (when taking a penalty). We will work again, we want more, we are a young, hungry team. We will go again” Doue said to TNT Sports.
