Organisers of the Game 11 Football Festival have announced that the fifth edition of the event will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at AIS Park in East Legon, Accra.
The festival, which combines sports, entertainment and community engagement activities, was first held in 2017 and has since become a recurring event on Ghana’s sporting calendar.
This year’s edition will feature men’s and women’s football competitions, a men’s basketball tournament and a car show. Winners of the various competitions will receive cash prizes.
According to organisers, the men’s football champions will receive GHS 18,000, while the winners of the women’s football competition will earn GHS 5,000. The basketball tournament winners will take home GHS 10,000.

The event is also expected to include musical performances and other entertainment activities alongside the sporting competitions. Rap artiste 5 Rave is among the performers scheduled to appear, while a car and bike exhibition has also been planned.
Speaking ahead of the event, Game 11 president Ivan Kwame Dzansi said the festival aims to provide opportunities for young athletes while promoting participation in sport.
Co-founders Felix Nana Sackey, Perez Cecil and Nana Boansi Attafuah indicated that they hope to see the initiative expand its reach in the coming years through increased participation and partnerships.
The festival is expected to attract athletes, entertainers and spectators from across the country.
