Coco Gauff’s Wimbledon campaign ended on Thursday, July 9, with a dramatic three-set semi-final defeat to Czech 10th seed Karolína Muchová.
Muchová came from a set down to secure a 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (12-10) victory on Centre Court, sealing the match in a tense deciding tiebreak.

Coco Gauff took control in the second set after Muchová won the opener, forcing a decider. The final set was closely contested, with both players saving match points before Muchová edged the tiebreak 12-10 to reach her first Wimbledon final.

The defeat ended Gauff’s best run at Wimbledon, having reached the semi-finals at the All England Club for the first time.
