Leicester City have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Ipswich Town for the transfer of Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku for an undisclosed fee, subject to league and international approval.
The 22-year-old winger departs the Foxes after three successful seasons at the club.

He initially joined Leicester on loan from Sporting CP ahead of the 2023/24 campaign before making the move permanent the following summer after playing a key role in the club’s Sky Bet Championship-winning season.
During his time at the King Power Stadium, Issahaku made 100 appearances in all competitions and scored 16 goals, establishing himself as one of the club’s standout performers.
Confirming the transfer, Leicester City thanked the Ghanaian for his contribution, saying: “We would like to thank Abdul for his efforts over the last three seasons as he departs with the very best wishes of everyone at Leicester City.”
Issahaku also represented Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, helping the Black Stars reach the Round of 32 before their campaign ended with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Colombia.
