Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has turned down the opportunity to share details of his contract following his re-appointment to the role.
At a presser ahead of Ghana’s 2027 AFCON qualifier against The Gambia on Tuesday, September 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium, Queiroz was asked to provide details about his contract but declined.
The veteran Portuguese was first appointed as Black Stars head coach on a four month contract that run through Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
Following the tournament, the former Manchester United head coach was re-appointed but at the time of writing, details on the new contract have not been made public and Queiroz failed to do so.
“I am not here to have an engagement on contract but my contract is to serve well the Black Stars to win games and make it right for the team” Queiroz said.
Ghana rank bottom of Group C in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers after losing 2-0 to Cote D’Ivoire ahead of the clash against Gambia.
