England manager Thomas Tuchel has described the Three Lions’ 2-0 win over Czechia as a professionally managed performance.
Harry Kane and Anthony Gordon scored as England bounced back from their 3-2 defeat to Spain with a win away from home in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday, September 29.
England conceded twice from mistakes in the defeat to the reigning world champions but showed greater control against Czechia.
Speaking after the match, Tuchel said he was pleased with the performance, particularly in the second half, as England secured their first win of the campaign.
“I think it-the win- was very professional. The second half, we played with more urgency and more dynamism on the sides and more movement on the sides and we deserved to win…I’m happy for the win.”
England take on Croatia next in their penultimate Nations League game on Saturday, October 3.
