Port City FC head coach Christopher Ennin says his side will not be intimidated by the stature of Accra Hearts of Oak when the two teams meet in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The league debutants face Hearts of Oak on October 11 in one of the standout fixtures of the sixth round of the 2026/27 season.
Port City have made an impressive start to life in the top flight, recording three wins, a draw and a defeat from their opening five matches. They currently sit third on the league table.
Hearts of Oak are sixth after suffering their first defeat of the campaign, a 1-0 loss to Karela United.
Speaking through the club’s media, Ennin says Port City will approach the game with confidence despite facing one of Ghana’s most successful clubs.

“We are going to approach the Accra Hearts of Oak game like the way we approach all games because we are playing a premier club, a bigger club in Ghana…but on the field of play, the better side will carry the day.”

“I know it’s going to be a good game but on the field of play, there won’t be any respect” Ennin said.
