AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim says his team must learn to make games more comfortable despite extending their unbeaten start to the 2026/27 Serie A season.

He made this comment after Milan beat Atalanta 3-2 to stretch their unbeaten run to seven matches, with four wins and three draws.

Milan appeared to be cruising to victory after Goncalo Ramos, Adrien Rabiot and Mario Gila put them 3-0 ahead by the 57th minute.

However, Atalanta struck twice in the 66th and 81st minutes to set up a tense finish, leaving Amorim concerned about his side’s inability to see out the game comfortably.

“We stopped pressing, and the nerves started to creep in. It can happen in football; we need to be more consistent in terms of performances, results, and, even if we have to struggle, struggle less.”

“I think the result is the most important thing at the end of the match, but we have to analyze the performance” Amorim said to Sky Italia.
