The Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi will host both legs of Ghana’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Somalia.
The Black Stars will host the first leg on Thursday, November 12, before Somalia take their turn as the designated home team on Monday, November 16, with both matches scheduled at Essipong.
Ghana head into the double-header under pressure after losing their opening two Group C matches, leaving them bottom of the table without a point.
The four-time African champions opened their campaign with a 2-0 defeat to reigning champions Côte d’Ivoire before surrendering a two-goal lead to lose 4-2 to The Gambia in Accra.
The results leave Ghana with a goal difference of minus four, having scored twice and conceded six goals.
Somalia have also lost their opening two matches and sit third in the group on goal difference, giving both sides an opportunity to revive their qualifying campaigns.
Ghana will be desperate to take maximum points from the two encounters as they seek to return to the continental showpiece after missing the 2025 AFCON in Morocco. The 2027 tournament will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
