Black Princesses squad for U -20 Women’s World Cup revealed

Ahead of the Women’s U-20 World Cup in France which begins on August 5th – 20th ,Ghana’s Black Princesses have named their final 21 member squad.

Star striker for the team Princella Adubea missed out on the competition as she goes through recovery following a serious knee injury she suffered.

She bagged 10 goals for the Black Princesses to become the joint top scorer of the African U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The squad however of consist of 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 5 midfielders and 5 forwards.

Defenders 
Hagan Cecilia .
Tweneboah Justice .
Amoako Linda.
Anane Belinda .
Badu Evelyn.
Agbonadzi Shine.

Midfielders.

Asantewaa Grace.
Acheampong Grace.
Abambila Ernestina.
Anokye Olivia .
Agyemang Adu.

Forwards. 

Obeng Helena .
Anima Ruth.
Patience Peterson.
Sandra Owusu Ansah.
Rafia Alhassan.

 

Ghana have been drawn in Group A where they will take on hosts France,New Zealand and the Netherlands.

They will be hoping to make it out of the group phase for the first time in the competition.
