Reading Time: 1 min read

Combative Ghana international midfielder Alfred Duncan looks set to stay at Italian Serie A side Sassuolo for the upcoming season as the Italian side is reluctant to sell the player.

The 25 year old has been attracting interest from many top sides in the Serie A including, Inter Milan and Lazio during this transfer window, and has already spoken of his desire for a new challenge.

According to reports in Italy, Sassuolo who initially were willing to let the Ghanaian leave for the right offer, have now rescinded their decision because of their inability to find a replacement.

Duncan, who has 2 years left on his contract, was a mainstay in the Sassuolo side last season making 26 league appearances for the side.

Sassuolo will begin their 2018/2019 league campaign against Duncan’s former side Inter Milan on August 19.
