Citi FM’s Fentuo Tahiru in Nigeria for IAAF’s Media Development Project

Citi FM’s Fentuo Tahiru has been invited to take part in the International Association of Athletics Federations’ (IAAF) Media Development Project (MDP) in Asaba, Nigeria.

[contextly_sidebar id=”XRYllbRDvvMzKP2sLKVwtsiiYIVx7ZKn”]The week-long event is on the occasion of the 21st edition of the Africa Senior Athletics Championships in the same city, and Mr. Tahiru is part of 16 athletics reporters from around the world invited to take part in the project.

“The Media Development Project is part of the IAAF Media Development Strategy, which aims at supporting Athletics journalists worldwide to help them further improve their knowledge and skills, assist in the development of a class of journalists who are able to create and promote athletics culture in their countries, ” the IAAF said in a statement.

Tahiru will also provide coverage for the championships for all of Citi’s platforms (Citi FM, Citi TV & Citinewsroom.com), focusing on Ghana’s exploits at the championships.

Fentuo Tahiru is a versatile GT sports journalist with indepth knowledge in athletics.
