The game will kick off on Thursday at 7pm at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The Black Stars arrived in Cape Coast on Tuesday evening, making stops in Mankessim and Winneba along the way to distribute paraphernalia and interact with locals as part of the #BringBacktheLove campaign.

On Pressure to win

Andre Ayew: “You don’t play in the national team without pressure…then you don’t know what is ahead of you. A football player is one who wants to get back from setback. We want to do week for our country and we want to qualify from this group. It won’t be an easy match. But we want to win in front of our fans”

On support from Ghanaians

Kwesi Appiah: We really appreciate the support Ghanaians have shown us so far; right from Accra, Winneba, Mankessim and Cape Coast. It’s now time for us to reciprocate by giving out our best to make our nation happy.

Andre Ayew: There is always a responsibility on us to make sure we make our country proud. We accept this responsibility. We won’t always get it right but we are determined to be up there again. we appreciate the support Ghanaians have always offered us. It was wonderful yesterday in Winneba, Mankessim and here in Cape Coast. We are also determined to make every Ghanaian happy.
