Naija’s stunning ‘swoosh’ kits makes fans go ‘crazy’

Nike’s stunning new kits for the Nigerian national teams have been hailed widely on social media after they were unveiled.

Nigeria, who are sponsored by Nike, unveiled their new kits for the upcoming African Cup of Nations and FIFA World Cup qualifiers and any other tournament across every division.

The previous sets of jerseys, which were released for Nigeria’s World Cup campaign two years ago, flew off the shelves and it seems Nike has repeated the trick with their 2020 offerings which have caught the heart of fans.

On the home shirt, the pattern is hand-drawn and takes inspiration from the agbada, a robe worn in much of West Africa.

The green and white pattern on either side have the crest and the Nike logo sandwiched between them positioned on the centre of the chest.

Nigeria’s new away shirt is in a dark grey colour with a white and light green coloured trim.

Some fans have described the new kit as ‘absolutely stunning’.

Some social media users think the new kit is an upgrade of the popular jersey Nigeria wore from 2018-2020.

Nigeria's new kit is nice but.. old one is iconic. Just like arsenal's kit this season, or the old burgundy kit before they left highbury… the only way is down 😔

The new Nigeria kit is fire. I like it more than the old one
