REVEALED: Inter Allies is GHPL’s highest scorers after 9 rounds

With 9 rounds and 81 matches played so far in the Ghana Premier League, it has emerged that Inter Allies has scored the most goals this season.

A look at the Ghana Premier League shows that the Tema-based side has scored 14 times this season.

With the exception of their 1-0 loss to Olympics, they have managed to score in every league match they have played this season and their highest victory was the 4-2 result they got against King Faisal in Week 7.

Out of the 14 that they have scored, forward, Victorien Adebayor has 8 by himself and that represents 57 percent of the team’s output.

Following them in terms of highest scoring teams are Aduana Stars and King Faisal who both have 12, Medeama who have scored 11 goals in all, and Kotoko and Elmina Sharks who are tied on 10 goals scored.

In contrast, teams like Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities FC have scored only 6 goals.

WAFA have 7 goals to their name, AshGold, Karela and Dwarfs all have 8 goals to their name.

In terms of total goals scored after 9 rounds of the Ghana Premier League, 163 have been scored in the 81 matches played.

70 of the goals have come in the first half while 93 have come in the second half.
