New Southampton signing, Mohammed Salisu has spoken of his joy in joining the Premier League side.
The 21 year old Ghanaian, joins Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side on a four year deal from La Liga side, Real Valladolid.
The left footed defender, has highlighted the reputation of the club in developing young players as one of the factors that convinced him to join.
“It is a very good feeling to be a Southampton player, he said.
”Southampton has a fantastic history in developing young players, and I hope I do my best to add to that group.

Salisu made 31 appearances for Real Valladolid last season, scoring one goal.
