Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori has revealed that Bayern Munich and Germany shot stopper Manuel Neuer has influenced his style and approach to the game.
Ofori has joined Pirates from Maritzburg where he is expected to help their title charge this season and also take up the number one spot.
“I look up to Manuel Neuer from Germany.
“The way he plays and how well he commands his area.
“He also plays a very high line and makes sure he defends for the team when he is needed.
“I want to be like him and hope that one day I can play like that,” he told Pirates official media.
The Black Stars first choice goalkeeper’s reputation has grown since leaving Ghana and he will hope that playing in more competitions with his new club will continue to offer him the exposure he desires.
