AFCON 2022Q: 10 Black Stars players train ahead of Sudan match

Ten of the 23 players called up by head coach C.K Akonnor, trained at the McDan La town park on Monday, November 9, 2020, as the Black Stars began preparations for their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.

The list of players includes captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Emmanuel Lomotey, Afriyie Acquah, John Antwi, Razak Abalora, Tariq Fosu, Kwadwo Amoako, Samuel Owusu, and Nicholas Opoku.

C.K Akonnor and his men will be seeking to continue the team’s impressive start to the qualifiers, following victories against South Africa and São Tomé and Principe in November 2019.

Ghana will face Sudan on Thursday, November 12 in Cape Coast before flying to Khartoum for the reverse fixture on November 17.
