Kotoko dropped to CAF’s second-tier competition after exiting the CAF Champions League to Sudanese giants Al Hilal in the last round of qualifiers to the group stages.
ES Sétif on the other hand advanced to this stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after getting a walkover against Chadian side Renaissance FC following their disqualification.
The first leg is scheduled to take place on February 14, 2021, and the second leg comes off on February 21, 2021.
The winners of the tie will advance to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup where Kotoko last played in 2018.
ES Sétif is currently top of the Algerian League and has lost just one game across all competitions this season.
