Midfielder Mudasiru Salifu, defender Christopher Nettey and goalkeeper Razak Abalora have all been rested ahead of Asante Kotoko’s all-important Ghana Premier League match-week 30 game against Karela United on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors host Karela United in the cagey mid-week encounter at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Head coach Mariano Barreto has chosen not to include some of his notable players such as Razak Abalora, Christopher Nettey, Mudasiru Salifu and Solomon Sarfo Taylor for the Karela for the game, notably with one eye on that all important clash on Sunday against Hearts of Oak in sight.
Adom Frimpong and Andy Francis Kumi have have been included after recovering from injury.
