Black Stars XI vs Morocco: Daniel Amartey starts, captain Andre Ayew on bench

Black Stars head coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor has named his starting eleven to face the Atlas Lions of Morocco in Rabat.

Akonnor hands a debut start to Orenburg’s Joel Famayeh as Daniel Amartey and Baba Idrissu return to the starting XI.

Daniel Amartey, who returns to the Black Stars fold will partner with Nicholas Opoku in the back with Gideon Mensah and Andy Yiadom operating as the fullbacks.

Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus also returns to the starting eleven after he missed out in Ghana’s last outing due to injury.

Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew is however on the bench.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 GMT at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat.

The friendly matches form part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers scheduled for September.
